Meet The Author
Bear Murray, PsyD (h.c.), LPC, M.Ed, ABS, is a writer shaped by service, reflection, and an unflinching commitment to understanding how history shapes the human soul. With roots in military duty, law enforcement, and clinical mental health, Bear brings a multidisciplinary lens to his work, however, it is his personal journey through loss, fatherhood, trauma, and healing that breathes life into every page of Fractured Foundations. His writing blends historical analysis with memoir, uncovering how national events reverberate inside the family unit, the human heart and our national culture.
Dr. Bear’s approach bridges clinical expertise with moral reflection, offering a unique voice on issues of generational trauma, fatherhood, faith, and renewal.
His work reflects years of private journaling, research, and quiet conversations with veterans, families, and young people searching for purpose in a fragmented world. Bear’s message is both sobering and inspiring: clarity but hope and the belief that redemption is still possible for individuals, families, and nations alike.
